GEOBIOLAB LABORATORY
The workshop designed for Geobiolab will allow participants to learn and experience the activity of excavation; it is a simulation of a real paleontological excavation where kids, with suitable tools, will experience the emotion of the discovery of fossils.
They will be provided with a kit for small palaeontologists, which will allow them to learn to recognize the layers of rocks and to discover fossils and bones. Their reconstructions and reproductions with plaster casts will reveal the secrets of extinct animals and of the past.
This is a funny game that will allow kids to deepen several topics, including the concept of geological time, the origin and transformations of the Earth, the classification of sedimentary rocks and their formation processes, fossils and fossilization processes.
